The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 has been enacted to create a conducive environment for women at the workplace and to prevent sexual harassment against them. Under this Act, such workplaces where there are less than 10 (ten) employees and where internal committee has not been formed. Apart from this, where the complaint is against the employer himself, a local committee is formed at the district level in the light of the approval received from the District Officer to hear the case of the domestic worker
